New air-cooled ultra violet light emitting system provides 1W UV-C (265nm) radiation

The LED-system OLM-034-265 expands the OSA Opto Light product portfolio into the UV-C region. The key-unit of this system is a high-density array with 36 LED operating at 265 nm and reaching an optical power density of around 200 mW/cm². This air-cooled user-friendly unit can be operated independent or via a PC- program and is a powerful tool for fast implementation in industrial and laboratory environment. Since the prices for UVC LEDs is still very high, the number of LED Chips mounted in the system can be varied between 9 and 36 pcs to match the costs.
