Easy-to-use UVC LED lamp for disinfection of surfaces

OSA Opto Light has completed a first easy-to-use LED lamp with integrated battery for disinfection of surfaces. This rod-shaped Lamp used with UVC LEDs has an optical power of approx. 15 mW/cm² @ 265 nm, which can eliminate viruses with a simple hand scan. This LED module contain six UV LEDs with a lens that focus the light in an angle of about 20°.  The Module can be operated for about 30 min before needing to recharge.
