OSA Opto Light produces and supplies LED-Chips that have a wide range of wavelength (color) and luminous output. They are produced using various compound semiconductor materials such as GaP, GaAs, GaAlAs, AlInGaP and GaAsP.

Types of LED Chips:

Visible spectrum (red, green, yellow, orange)

• GaAlAs
• GaP
• AlInGaP

Infra-Red spectrum (670 to 950 nm)

• GaAs
• GaAlAs

Sizes:

• Standard Dice sizes are available from 205 x 205 µm
  until 2mm x 2mm in different steps
• Special shapes and sizes can be realized.
  Special shapes of the bond pad or top metalization layer are possible and can be designed to customers spezification.

Competence in Infra-Red:

• The IR-chips (high power or high speed between 670nm and 920nm) are produced without GaAs-substrate and are consequently powerful and show only single peak spectra.
• Fast switching times lower than 10 ns are possible. Standard Dice have a switching time of 20 to 50 ns.
• IR-chips are available from 670nm to 850nm peak wavelength in 1nm steps with a tolerance of +/-8 nm. Also availableare IR-Chips in the following wavelengths: 850nm till 950nm.
